The Nyle DiMarco Endowment Fund honors Nyle DiMarco, a fourth-generation Deaf individual, who has made significant contributions in media and advocacy for the Deaf community.
A New York Times bestselling author and actor, Nyle DiMarco has appeared in popular shows such as “American's Next Top Model,” “Dancing with the Stars,” and “Switched at Birth.” Nyle's credits as a documentary producer include “Deaf U” – a historical first for hiring a 50% Deaf crew – and the Academy Award-nominated “Audible.” Nyle and Academy Award winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim co-directed the recent Apple TV+ documentary, “Deaf President NOW!”. DiMarco, who attended Lexington School for the Deaf as a young child, actively produces and develops both scripted and non-scripted projects that champion Deaf and disability narratives and foster inclusive storytelling.
