Occupational & Physical Therapy

Lexington’s occupational & physical therapists help students improve their fine motor, gross motor and sensory processing abilities. Our occupational therapists primarily work on fine motor, perceptual and sensory processing skills. Our physical therapists focus on gross motor, coordination and balance skills. Therapists work closely with teachers so that students practice therapy skills in the classroom setting.

Therapy sessions are provided according to each student’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). All therapists are licensed through the New York State Department of Education in addition to holding national certification.
