Middle School Team Competes in Battle of the Books
Congratulations to the Middle School Battle of the Books team members and coaches!
High fives to the middle school students - Hai Wen, Juliette, Samatha, Umer, Yudesh, and Zahra - who participated in yesterday's Battle of the Books competition, sponsored by Gallaudet University! Coaches Whitney Chesser and Karen Romano did an awesome job coaching the students with only six weeks to prepare.

Lex vs. Kendall Demonstration Elementary School 22 - 20 (W)
Lex vs. Maryland School for the Deaf, Frederick 20 - 26 (L)
Parents, staff, and students were able to watch the matches via a Zoom link. Everyone celebrated after the competition with refreshments and game time!
