Lexington will be celebrating Latinx Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, 2020. The Lexington committee worked diligently over the summer to plan four weeks of special events and activities.
This year, for the first time, the Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center at Gallaudet University and Lexington School for the Deaf have come together to host joint Latinx Month events, presentations, panels, and activities. Events will be presented via Zoom for our students, staff and families. Videos of some events will be posted for the general public at a later date. This is an exciting collaboration and we hope to have a large turnout for our Latinx Heritage Month celebration.
