Winter 2017 ASL Classes

Lexington Vocational Services Center, Inc., is accepting registrations for its Winter 2017 Semester of American Sign Language classes. Classes start Tuesday, January 24, and run through Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

Lexington Soccer Team Takes 2nd at ESDAA Tournament

Congratulations to the Lexington Bluejays for taking second place in the Eastern Schools for the Deaf Athletic Association (ESDAA) soccer tournment on October 21 and 22, 2016. Lexington lost to hosts Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in the final match. Congratulations to players Anthony LaFleur, Raymond Mukhailov and Jaime Pavia for receiving recognition for the All-Tournament Team.

Holiday Invitational Wrestling Tournament

Saturday, December 3, 2016 - Doors Open at 8:30 a.m. Admission is $3.00 for adults and teens and free for children under 12. Participating schools include: Dalton, Lexington, Maryland School for the Deaf, Martin Luther School, Model Secondary School for the Deaf and Queens Complex High School.

Harald Vik Visits Lexington

Harald Vik visited Lexington High School on November 7, 2016. Mr. Vik, who hails from Norway, completed his 24th NYC Marathon on November 6th. An avid bicyclist, runner and cross-country skier, Harald was born deaf and later lost his sight. His presentation was an inspiration to everyone at Lexington. Summer of Transportation - Sanitation Truck Visit
